General-purpose conversational AI or non-business AI chatbots are not permitted, in accordance with Meta (WhatsApp) policies.

WAPilot.io does not own, sell, or control end-user data.
All customer data processed through the platform belongs solely to the client business.
4. User Consent & Opt-In Responsibility
Clients are solely responsible for obtaining explicit opt-in and consent from end users before sending messages via WhatsApp Business API.
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Purchased or rented contact lists
- Scraped phone numbers
- Third-party data without valid user consent
Violation of opt-in rules may result in WhatsApp Business Account suspension by Meta.
5. Message Templates & Content Compliance
Clients must:
- Use only Meta-approved message templates
- Ensure correct categorization (Utility, Marketing, Authentication)
Misuse of Utility templates for promotional or marketing content may lead to:
- Template rejection
- WhatsApp Business Account suspension by Meta
6. AI & Automation Usage
Automation on WAPilot.io must be limited to business-specific use cases, such as:
- Customer support
- Order or booking updates
- FAQs
- Lead qualification
General-purpose AI chatbots or open-ended conversational AI (similar to ChatGPT-style interactions) are not permitted under Meta's WhatsApp Business API policies.
7. Pricing & Meta Charges Disclosure
WhatsApp message pricing is governed by Meta and may change from time to time.
WAPilot.io platform charges are separate and independent of Meta's pricing structure.
8. Data Security & Retention
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data.
Data is retained only as necessary to provide services or as required by law. WhatsApp message delivery and storage are also governed by Meta's infrastructure and policies.
9. Account Suspension & Limitation of Liability
WhatsApp Business Account approval, monitoring, and suspension are controlled solely by Meta.
WAPilot.io acts only as a technology provider and shall not be held responsible for account suspension, restrictions, or losses caused by policy violations or misuse by clients.
10. Policy Updates
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect:
